A warm, moist and flavorful fish, Salmon is one of my favorite meats!
In this blog post, I will be sharing with you one of my favorite ways to flavor and cook the salmon, with fresh lemon and my special dill-garlic butter. The dill adds to the fish an aromatic and earthy flavor, while the citrus from the lemon brightness the dish.
Ingredients:
4-6 salmon fillet (2-3 pounds)
1/2 lemon juice
Thin round slices of lemons
Spring of dill weed, see picture below
Salt and pepper to taste
Dill-lemon butter
1/4 cup of butter, softened
2 cloves and garlic, graded or minced fine
1/4 cup chopped dill
zest of one lemon
1/2 lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (204 C).
Combine the ingredients for the dill lemon butter, and set aside.
If you are cooking the salmon on a baking sheet, I recommend lining the sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper, making the clean-up easier.
Salt and pepper the salmon on both sides.
Place lemon slices directly on the foil and lay the salmon on top.
Spread the dill butter over the salmon.
Bake the fillets for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through. Do not over bake the fish!

Dill- Lemon Butter:

You can enjoy this salmon with roasted or #grilled veggies or over a delicious lemony #salad with some Lebanese olive oil.
As we say in Lebanon #sahten wo alf hana!
